I was in lush the other day having a look around the shop, smelling a few bath bombs and trying a few testers. Well this was dangerous because of course I picked something up; two presents, one for my mom and one for my sister (I ended up using them both anyway). Also last year I stocked up on the melting snowman bath melt and it managed to sneak its way in here too. I didn’t see it in the shop that day but maybe its just out of stock.
I love lush and I enjoyed using the products too, so I thought they would make good Christmas gifts for a secret Santa or as something small to give someone in the family.

The first is called Rub Rub Rub. This exfoliates and cleanses as well as washes the skin I think its the perfect three in one shower scrub. The smell is like citrus or lemon and is very unisex, it doesn’t smell too girly or man-like.
When showering the scrub turns almost gel like to create a soap. Even though it is a salt scrub it isn’t to harsh on the skin. Its decribed as a body and hair scrub, I haven’t been brave enough to put the salt near my head yet, but lush has never failed me.

(This mask should be kept in the fridge)This face mask is perfect just before you go to bed or while your having a bath etc. It is also better quality than your usual packet face mask. This uses all natural ingredients and is a bit more luxurios. The one I chose was BB Seaweed its mainly made of roses and seaweed and it was the nicest smelling one it the shop, same as before the smell is unisex.
This one is designed to soften and smoothen the skin and acts also as a gentle exfoliant. I left the mask on my face for 10/15 minutes until it was dry and removed it with a damp cloth. My skin felt soft but still a bit tight. I would recommend after washing it off to splash your face with water a few more times to prevent tightness (this seemed to work for me ). On the lush website this mask is shown used on a man, once again to prove that face masks are good for guys too!
(under €5)
Last is the Melting snowman bath melt. My snowman got a bit battered so I said I’d include a picture from the lush website. This would be a lovely gift to get along with other small things and its not like your typical Christmas body spray set that you never use.
To use you crumble under running water or you could just leave it melt away by itself in the bath. It contains shea butter and almond oil, its really nice to add into the bath with some bubbles. It made my skin so soft. It also feels really moisturising whether it is or not? I think this is another good one for any gender . The scent isn’t what you would expect it to be. Its kind of citrus like or like fabric softener (I am rubbish at describing scents, but it is nice!)
I hope this provided you with last minute inspiration and I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas, more posts will be up soon after Christmas. And by all means pop out and buy these as a last minute Christmas present for yourself too!
Much love,
Laura x
