My Birthday Burnt Orange Eye Look

So February 18th I turned seventeen (enter ABBA song here), I was sick on my actual birthday so I had a mini party a few weeks ago and this look was born, after getting a few compliments on it I decided that I would share it. I had such positive feelings towards my first make-up post so I hope you all enjoy this in depth eye tutorial aswell! (Btw I am not a make-up artist or anything amazing at make-up, just trying things out :))

I start off by priming my eyes. I take a tiny amount of the primer and apply it all over my lid with clean fingers. I am using Urban Decay primer potion in Original.12810425_1049155835147025_1724992771_o12787345_1049156395146969_395233441_o (1)
Then with a fluffy brush I take the colour Naked from the Naked palatte by Urban Decay. This is a slightly more cooler toned brown, I apply the majority of the product in my crease and when there is less product on my brush I blend this on my entire lid.

I then take the colour Buck which is a deeper warmer brown and apply it on my outer v and sweep it into my crease.

Using the Lorac Unzipped palatte I take the colours Unconditional and Unspoken a matte muted pink and a medium matte brown and blend them both into my crease aswell, I aimed to create loads of depth in this look.

I then go in with the shade I want to stand out most in the look which is a burnt orange matte shade . This is Inglot’s 335 eyeshadow. To apply I am packing it on the outer v slightly on the lid and bringing it back to the crease. I am using the Zoeva brush in 227, luxe soft definer.

Then using the same brush I use another matte burnt reddish shade from the Lorac Unzipped Palatte called Unbridled and I keep this strictly on my outer v, just to darken the look.

As a brow bone and inner-corner highlight I used the shade Undercover from the Lorac Unzipped palatte. I used a smaller non branded fluffy brush for this.

Next I go in with black liquid liner (I still haven’t mastered this but I’m slowly improving:’) ). The liquid liner I use is by Catrice Cosmetics in 010- Don’t Leave Me

I then coated my lashes with MAC False Lashes Waterproof before applying false lashes.

Using cotton buds, DUO eyelash glue and tweezers is how I apply false lashes. I used Ardelle lashes, I think these are 101 Demi Black .

I then clean up the white glue by going over it with the same black liquid liner. I finished my entire face make-up and then went back in with Inglot’s 335 and Lorac Unzipped’s Unconditional on my lower lash line.

I then used black eyeliner by lancome on my outer waterline, keeping the inside open and light.

And that completes the look ! I hope you all enjoyed and will try to re-create and let me know if you want to see how I completed my face.

Also if anyone was wondering, my jumper is from Topshop. Just a quick thank you to Emily for her photography.

I wish you all a wonderful Easter!

Much love,

Laura
