Charlotte Tilbury has released a new line of products and being the massive fan that I am I decided that I had to try this one out. The price tag is high and so are the expectations. Here are my thoughts on the product:
My Thoughts
- The packaging, as usual, is very pretty and eye catching.
- The size of the product looks smaller in person than it does online, so make sure that you go in store and see the size of it for yourself before purchasing.
- The applicator is pretty unique. I actually like the shape of the applicator since the product is colourless, but I think if the product had colour it would be difficult to fill in your lips without getting some product on the edges of your mouth.
Claims
- ‘Plumping collagen care for fuller, wider, fresher lips’ – This product does plump up the lips slightly, but I honestly feel that this looks no different on the lips to a lip oil. Before using this product my lips look normal and after they look like a more hydrated version of normal. Don’t get me wrong it looks nice, but at €32 I think that this is definitely over-priced since it just feels like a slightly minty lip oil to me.
In all honesty I think that if you were thinking about getting this product a lip oil would be just as good and about a quarter of the price.
When it comes to lip plumpers I really like to feel like something is happening to my lips like with the ‘Smashbox Lip O Plump’ you can actually kind of feel it burning a bit, it might sound weird but I like that because I know that it’s doing something. Whereas with the ‘Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath’ there is only a slight minty sensation which for me doesn’t do much. However if you hate that lip plumping type of feeling this one could be a better option than the Smashbox one.
What are you’re favourite lip plumping type products and have you tried this one?
Have a great week everyone!
Stay Beautiful,
Much love,

I love the Dior Lip Maximizer. It plumps quite nicely and moisturizes really well, especially if you apply it before going to sleep.
